Objective:

• Deliver didactic lectures, LCD presentations, and tutorials to cover the syllabus.
• Teach the application of knowledge acquired during clinical rounds.
• Evaluate students through periodic examinations.
• Provide adequate practical training to postgraduate students in OPD, wards, and the O.T. (Operating Theater).
• Apply knowledge in effective patient management.
• Raise awareness in society about health issues using audio-visual aids.
• Provide basic antenatal (ANC), intranatal (INC), and postnatal care (PNC).
• Diagnose and treat gynecological diseases.
• Offer facilities for family planning services.

Infrastructure:

• The labor room is air-conditioned, equipped with ---- labor tables, and includes beds in receiving and waiting areas.
• The HDU (High Dependency Unit) is located near the labor room and has --- beds.
• The department has dedicated cabins for the Head of Department, Professors, and Associate Professors, with separate cabins for Assistant Professors.
