• Understand the typical structure, relationships, and overall, functional,
and clinical anatomy of various body structures.following instruments.
• Recognize the microscopic features of tissues and organs in the human
body, and relate their structure to their functions, providing a foundation
for understanding changes that occur in diseases
• Grasp the fundamental organization and connections within the central
nervous system to interpret how it integrates and regulates the functions
of different organs and systems.
• Learn the core concepts of embryology, including genetic inheritance
and the stages of organ and system development from conception to birth.
• Identify key stages of normal development and understand the impact
of common teratogens, genetic abnormalities, and environmental factors
on the developmental process.
At the end of course, the learner shall be able to
Course consist of 8 semesters with following number of theory and Practical subjects
A) COGNITIVE DOMAIN:
• Define fundamental medical terminology used as the language of medicine.
• Outline the general anatomy of human body structures and organ
systems.
• Explain the normal arrangement, relationships, nerve supply, blood
supply, and functional anatomy of clinically significant structures and
organs.
• Discuss the structural relationships between organs as the foundation
of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Describe the fundamental principles of imaging techniques.

• Highlight the structural and functional relationship of the nervous
system along with its clinical significance.
• Describe the basic principles and sequential development of organ
systems.
• Explain the embryological origins of major developmental abnormalities and variations.
• Discuss the basics of medical genetics, focusing on common genetic
syndromes.
•Explain how developmental processes contribute to major variations,
abnormalities, and congenital anomalies.
B) PSYCHOMOTOR DOMAIN:
• Should be able to recognize and position human body structures in
the correct anatomical orientation.
• Should be able to locate and palpate organs and structures in the
human body.
• Should be proficient in operating a light microscope.
• Should relate the normal microscopic structure of various organs to
their specific functions.
C) AFFECTIVE DOMAIN:
